The Tharose are the ancient people of the old way of life. Once the whole world new of the Tharose and their ways but now few remember it. Tharose means, in their native tongue, The People Of Spirit.

Every Tharose is born with a crystal in their hand that is forged into an amulet. Your stone can tell a lot about a person and their character, and on the island of Tharose their are far more types of stones then anywhere else in the world. The amulet is a part of your soul and when you finally leave the Earth then something magical will happen. The stone will start to glow more and more brightly until you can't even bare to look at it, than you will see one of the seven sacred animal spirits, that are so beautiful you can not compare it to anything on Earth.

The Tharose though don't live on the sacred island, in actual fact they live in the outside world usually in packs made up of two families or more. They only return back to the island once every four years to review the goings on of other Tharose and any new laws that the High Council have proclaimed. The High Council are supreme and their power is unchallenged, all Tharose will obey the High Council, which is renewed every twenty years.

What would happen though, if the High Council snatched a father away from his child? And what would happen if the mother of that child dies leaving that child alone seperated from all other Tharose? Then finally what would happen if the High Council was corrupt and the Tharose were paying a deadly price for it and that chiild is the only one that could stop it, but she knows nothing of her power, heritage, past or destiny?
